Contribute
iTunes U albums are appropriated by request. You may request space (an album cover) on the external site or internal site. Materials on the internal site may be restricted to all of Emory or to just the students enrolled in your academic course. Materials posted to the external site are available to the world.
Please view the items in the toolbar at the left to ensure that you as a contributor are abiding by the technical and design standards, guidelines, and policies that govern materials on iTunes U at Emory.
Exclusively Emory / Academic Courses (Internal Site)
The iTunes U internal site provides an authenticated space for Emory faculty, staff, and students to view content exclusively for the Emory community and a number of academic courses that Emory professors have chosen to post exclusively for their enrolled students. Only individuals with Emory Network IDs can access material on the internal site.
Academic Course Requests
Instructors may request course albums for individual courses or sections within courses; instructors will become the administrator of their album. They may also choose to allow enrolled students to post their own audio and video files to an iTunes U drop box and shared space.
- Login to the Extended Control Panel to request an iTunes U site.
- Select the "Request iTunes U Site" tab.
- Under "My Blackboard Courses", Select the course for which you'd like an iTunes U site.
- If you'd like to copy a course from a previous semester, choose the semester where content current resides. Please be aware of the iTunes U policy on course retention.
- Please add your phone # and click "Submit Request".
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from the iTunes U administrator. iTunes U courses are automatically updated with enrollment data from Emory's official records.
